The Waveshare 10.4 inch QLED Quantum Dot Display is a high-brightness capacitive touch monitor built around a QLED IPS panel at 1600x720 resolution, delivering 600 cd/m2 brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Quantum Dot backlight technology achieves significantly higher colour purity than conventional LED, resulting in more saturated and accurate colours. The colour gamut reaches 94% sRGB and 94% NTSC. Touch input is handled by a 10-point capacitive sensor bonded to a 6H toughened glass surface, with video over HDMI and touch over USB Type-C, both of which are driver-free on Raspberry Pi OS and Windows. It supports Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, Kali, and RetroPie when paired with a Raspberry Pi, and is also compatible with Windows 7 through 11 as a standard PC monitor. A multi-language OSD menu allows on-screen adjustment of brightness and contrast, and audio output is available via a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 4-pin header.
