This policy explains what data NerdMarket collects and how we use it. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Who we are

NerdMarket is a trading name of Ironfang Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (No. 12764014), registered office C/O Burton Varley Ltd, Suite 3, 2nd Floor, Didsbury House, 748-754 Wilmslow Road, Manchester M20 2DW. Ironfang Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this site and is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (registration no. ZB444797).

What we collect

• Email address - only if you sign up for Nerd Alerts. Used to send the alerts you asked for and a confirmation message.
• Outbound click analytics - when you click an external deal link, we record the event with a daily-rotating, irreversible hash of your IP address (never the raw IP) so we can count clicks without identifying you.
• Essential cookies - a sign-in cookie for site administrators, and a cookie remembering that you've dismissed the cookie notice. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use it

• To send the alerts you subscribed to (double opt-in - we only email after you confirm).
• To understand which deals are useful, in aggregate.
• We do not sell your data.

Third parties

We use service providers to run the site - hosting, database, and an email-delivery provider for alert messages. They process data only to provide their service.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from alerts at any time via the link in any alert email.
• Request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us.
