Shaq-Fu is a 2D fighting game released in 1994, developed by Delphine Software International and published by Electronic Arts for the Sega Mega Drive. It features former professional basketball player Shaquille O'Neal as a playable character. In the story, O'Neal wanders into a dojo while heading to a charity basketball game in Tokyo and ends up transported to another dimension, where he must rescue a young boy from an evil mummy. The Mega Drive version includes all characters from the SNES version plus five additional fighters and three extra stages, with both an arcade mode and a story mode on offer. The game supports one or two players and is a notable piece of 1990s gaming history, having been met with mixed reviews on release before going on to be considered one of the worst video games of all time.
