About this deal
Wolf of the Battlefield II, known in Western markets as Mercs, is a top-down run and gun game originally developed and published by Capcom for the arcades in 1990. It is a sequel to the 1985 arcade game Commando. A Mega Drive version was produced by Sega, first released in Japan in September 1991, with subsequent releases in North America and Europe. The Mega Drive version features two game modes: an Arcade Mode, which replicates the original coin-op stages, and an Original Mode that introduces a new plot with all-new stages, weapon shops where players can buy power-ups using currency earned from defeated enemies, and the option to switch between multiple playable characters, each defined by the weapon they wield. A solid pick for fans of classic 16-bit action games and retro Capcom titles, this is a used copy listed in Very Good condition on eBay.
