About this deal
Ghostbusters is a platforming run-and-gun game released for the Sega Mega Drive in 1990, based on the popular Ghostbusters film franchise. Developed by Compile and published by Sega, it is a single-player title spanning multiple genres including platform, shooter, and run-and-gun. The game puts the player in control of cartoon representations of three of the four Ghostbusters from the films, with the notable absence of Winston Zeddemore. Four levels are available from the start and can be tackled in any order via a stage select system, after which a fifth and then a sixth and final level are unlocked. Weapons can be upgraded for a price by visiting the in-game item shop between cases, and three difficulty levels are on offer. A solid retro collectible for fans of the franchise and 16-bit gaming alike, offered here in very good condition.
