About this deal
RoboCop Versus the Terminator is a run-and-gun action game released in 1993, based on a four-issue comic book crossover between the RoboCop and Terminator franchises. The Mega Drive version was developed by Virgin Games. Both critical and online consensus regards the Mega Drive version as the superior variant , largely due to its uncensored and violent gameplay that set it apart from other formats. This is a complete, boxed copy with the original manual, making it a more desirable find for collectors. You play as RoboCop in a side-scrolling shoot-em-up, battling criminals and Terminators with an arsenal including laser guns, plasma rifles, and missile launchers, though RoboCop can only carry two weapons at a time. Levels span locations from both franchises, including Old Detroit, Delta City, the OCP offices, a T-800 factory, and Skynet itself. Due to the complexity of the licences involved, the game never received a re-release , so an original physical copy remains the only way to own it legitimately.
