About this deal
This bundle pairs a used Raspberry Pi Zero W V1.1, a compact, wireless-enabled single-board computer ideal for embedded and IoT applications, with a Pimoroni Enviro+ Air Quality HAT and particulate sensor. The Pi Zero W is powered by a Broadcom BCM2835 ARM11 single-core processor at 1 GHz with 512 MB of RAM, and offers Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.1/BLE connectivity. Its ultra-small dimensions and low power requirements make it highly suited for compact projects. The Pimoroni Enviro+ Air Quality HAT sits on top of the Pi and lets you measure air quality including pollutant gases and particulates, as well as temperature, pressure, humidity, light, and noise level. On-board sensors include a BME280 temperature, pressure, and humidity sensor; LTR-559 light and proximity sensor; MICS6814 analogue gas sensor; MEMS microphone; and a full-colour 0.96" IPS LCD display. The particulate sensor uses a laser to detect the number and size of airborne particles, outputting PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10 readings, referring to particle sizes of 1, 2.5, and 10 microns and smaller. This is a great ready-to-use kit for hobbyists interested in citizen science, home air quality monitoring, or IoT environmental projects.
