About this deal
The Game Boy Advance SP is a 32-bit handheld console from Nintendo, built as a compact, clamshell redesign of the original Game Boy Advance. It was the first Game Boy device with a rechargeable battery and an integrated screen light, making it far easier to play in low-light conditions than earlier models. It is backwards compatible with original Game Boy and Game Boy Color games, and is the last Game Boy to support them. The Flame Red colourway was added to the lineup after the initial launch colours. The clamshell design is notably compact, with the top folding flat over the bottom so it can slip into a jeans pocket. Battery life is up to 10 hours of continuous play with the light on, or around 18 hours with it off. The screen can display more than 32,000 colours simultaneously. This used unit is ideal for retro gaming fans or anyone wanting to revisit a classic handheld library at an accessible price.
