About this deal

This is a set of plastic Gretchin miniatures from 1993 on their original, uncut sprue, produced by Games Workshop for Warhammer 40,000 2nd Edition. Gretchin, also known as Grotz, are a smaller, more cowardly subspecies of Orks. Although they share a similar physiology to Orks, Gretchin are not as strong or tough as their larger brethren, compensating instead with an abundance of low cunning. These figures are out of print and date from the iconic 2nd Edition era, making them a sought-after piece of Warhammer history. The models are presented new and unassembled on the sprue, meaning they remain in their original factory condition. They appeal to collectors of vintage Games Workshop miniatures as well as Ork players looking to add period-correct Gretchin to a retro or Oldhammer army. On the tabletop, Gretchin are the cheapest screening unit in the game, used to hold backfield objectives and absorb enemy charges meant for more valuable units. Their characterful, grot-goblin aesthetic and long history in the lore make them a perennial favourite among the Warhammer community.
