This is the Trilogy Edition of the classic Risk strategy game, drawing on content from all three Lord of the Rings films and featuring a detailed gameboard depicting a complete map of Middle-earth, including Gondor, Mordor, and Haradwaith territories. Players choose to command Good or Evil forces, fielding specially sculpted pieces representing Elven Archers, Riders of Rohan, Orcs, Dark Riders, Eagles, and Cave-trolls. The game includes Territory cards, Adventure cards, Battalions, and a gold-tone ring. Gameplay follows the original Risk but adds Adventure cards earned by entering Sites of Power, which give leader missions, special bonuses, or trigger special events. Players can also choose to use the board for the standard Risk game, or try additional play modes listed in the instructions. The game supports 2 to 4 players and is suitable for ages 10 and up.
