Both players draft factions from a pool of eight, with each player choosing three clans and shuffling them together into a single 45-card deck. Crucially, the two unchosen factions also affect the game, creating significant variability between sessions. Cards are played onto a 5-by-3 grid, starting with weaker troops and building up to powerful Immortals. Victory can be claimed by winning two Supremacy Tokens, unlocking five Activation Tokens, or fielding 15 face-up cards in your army.
