Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle is the work of CLAMP, an all-female Japanese manga artist group led by Nanase Ohkawa, with artists Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi. The series was serialised in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine from May 2003 until October 2009, collected across 28 volumes. This fourth volume, published in English by Del Rey in January 2005 and running to 208 pages, is rated for readers aged 13 and up. Volume 4 takes the group to a small town reminiscent of Europe at the turn of the nineteenth century, where a ghostly golden-haired woman steals children in the night; Syaoran, Fai, Kurogane, Mokona, and Sakura ride into forbidding woodland to solve the mystery and recover another of Sakura's scattered memories. The broader series crosses over with CLAMP's xxxHOLiC and features alternate versions of characters from other CLAMP titles, making it a rewarding read for fans of the studio's wider catalogue. This copy is a first edition in fine condition.
