About this deal
The Topping DX5 II is an all-in-one desktop DAC and headphone amplifier aimed at anyone who wants serious performance without building a separate stack of components. Two ES9039Q2M chips handle digital conversion, one per channel, resulting in lower crosstalk, better imaging, a 133 dB signal-to-noise ratio, and distortion as low as 0.00006%. It supports high-resolution PCM up to 768kHz/32-bit, DSD512, and full MQA decoding. The amplifier section uses Topping's X-Hybrid circuit with a fully balanced quad-channel design, delivering up to 7,600 mW per channel. Headphone outputs include a 6.35 mm single-ended jack, a 4.4 mm balanced jack, and a 4-pin XLR jack, with a noise floor of just 1.8 uVrms that keeps even sensitive IEMs free from background hiss. Bluetooth 5.1 is handled by a QCC5125 chip supporting LDAC, aptX HD, and aptX Adaptive for wireless streaming up to 96kHz/24-bit. A built-in 10-band parametric EQ lets you tune the sound precisely , and a preamp mode allows direct connection to a power amplifier or active speakers without needing a separate preamplifier.
