About this deal
Kull the Conqueror is a 1982 limited series from Marvel Comics based on Robert E. Howard's classic fantasy hero Kull. The run spans just two issues, but each one is double-length compared to a standard Marvel comic and tells its own self-contained story with its own creative team. Set thousands of years in the past, Kull is an exiled Atlantean barbarian who has risen to become king of the declining nation of Valusia, though ruling demands far more than bravery and a strong sword arm. Issue 1, titled "The Power and the Kingdom!", is written by Alan Zelenetz with art by John Buscema and Danny Bulanadi. Issue 2, "The Blood of Kings!", is written by Doug Moench with art by John Bolton. Both issues are 48 pages in full colour with a cover price of $2.00. This lot of two Very Good condition copies is ideal for fans of sword-and-sorcery comics and collectors of early 1980s Marvel bronze-age material.
