The Gold Note DS-10 Plus is a four-in-one Italian-made hi-fi component combining a network streamer, high-resolution DAC, line preamplifier and headphone amplifier in a compact aluminium chassis. Unlike the standard DS-10, the Plus variant adds an analogue input that keeps the signal path fully analogue from input to output , making it suitable for listeners who use both digital and analogue sources. Digital inputs include an Ethernet port, USB-A, AES/EBU, RCA coaxial, USB-B, Bluetooth 5.0, and two TosLink inputs , while outputs include balanced XLR and RCA single-ended on the rear plus a quarter-inch headphone jack on the front panel . Streaming services supported include Roon, Airplay, Tidal, MQA, Qobuz, Spotify, vTuner and Deezer, with control via the GN Control app on iOS or Android . The DS-10 Plus uses an AKM AK4493 DAC chip, supporting up to PCM 768/32 and DSD512 . Its behaviour can be changed to adapt to the music played without modifying the audio signal, acting on the PCM equalisation curve, high-frequency de-emphasis and internal power profile, all selectable in real time via the TFT display . This listing also includes an external PSU-10 power supply unit, which uses a super inductive dual choke design with an inductive filter on the analogue stage, aimed at reducing electrical noise and interference from the AC mains for improved dynamics and resolution.
