About this deal

Future Wars: Time Travellers is a point-and-click adventure game released in 1989 by Delphine Software, available on Amiga, Atari ST and PC. It was created by programmer Paul Cuisset and artist Eric Chahi, who would later go on to produce Flashback: The Quest for Identity. It was the first game to use Delphine's proprietary Cinematique point-and-click interface. Kixx was a well-known budget software label that re-released popular titles at lower prices. The story begins with a window cleaner who stumbles upon a secret passage leading to a time machine and mysterious alien documents, and is transported back to the year 1304 where what seems like a simple rescue task soon reveals a far more serious alien invasion threat. The hero must travel to the remote future of the 44th century and eventually to the Cretaceous period to foil the alien plot. Gameplay uses left-clicking for character movement and right-clicking to bring up an action menu offering options such as Operate, Examine, Take, Use and Inventory. A great pick for fans of classic single-player graphic adventures and retro Atari ST gaming.
