Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor is a stand-alone card game within the Forest Shuffle family, introducing a brand new habitat with new species, abilities, and bonuses to explore. For 2 to 5 players, the aim is to compete in gathering the most valuable terrains, trees, and species to create an ecologically balanced habitat for flora and fauna. The game is part of the Lookout GreenLine of eco-friendly produced games. A key addition in Dartmoor is the introduction of terrain cards, played horizontally, which serve as a home or feeding ground for different species, with creatures only able to be placed above and below them. Each of the 180 cards can be placed face down to create a bog, and caves are now drafted at the start of the game, offering asymmetrical starting conditions. Three winter cards are seeded into the deck, and when the third is drawn the game ends abruptly, creating real tension as players race to complete their final combos. No prior knowledge of the original Forest Shuffle is needed to play.
