Sky Team is a cooperative board game exclusively for two players, in which you take on the roles of pilot and co-pilot working together to land a commercial airliner at airports around the world. Designed by Luc Remond and published by Scorpion Masque in 2023, a session plays in around 20 minutes but offers a surprisingly deep experience. It is suitable for players aged 14 and up. Players silently assign dice to spaces on the cockpit board to balance the aircraft's axis, control speed, deploy flaps, extend the landing gear, and contact the control tower. Spanning 11 airports and 21 scenarios inspired by real landing conditions, each destination brings its own hazards including wind, fuel leaks, traffic, and ice. The game won the prestigious Spiel des Jahres 2024 award and took Dicebreaker's Tabletop Award for Best Board Game in 2023, making it a standout choice for couples or friends who enjoy tense, strategic cooperative play.
