The Cisco C9300X-24Y-E is a high-performance enterprise access switch built for modern campus and aggregation networks. It is a 1RU, rack-mountable unit featuring 24 multi-rate 1/10/25GbE SFP28 fiber ports, making it well suited to high-density server connectivity, uplink aggregation, and Wi-Fi 6/6E backhaul. The switch supports modular uplink network modules offering 25G and 100G connectivity, and uses StackWise-1T technology so multiple units can be stacked and managed as a single logical device. Switching capacity reaches 2,000 Gbps standalone and 3,000 Gbps with stacking, with a forwarding rate of up to 1,488 Mpps. Hardware-based IPsec encryption is delivered via the UADP 2.5sec ASIC, and the Network Essentials licence included with the -E suffix provides robust Layer 2 and essential Layer 3 features alongside enhanced security and automation capabilities.
