A bundle of 14 Marvel X-Men comics spanning several key series. The X-Men are a superhero team created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, first appearing in September 1963. Uncanny X-Men is the longest-running series in the franchise, following a team of mutants with superhuman abilities led by Professor X. Ultimate X-Men, which began in 2001, reimagined the team in an alternate Marvel Universe, with many of the primary characters depicted as teenagers. X-Men Classic reprinted issues of Uncanny X-Men from the early to mid-1980s. X-Factor starred the five original X-Men -- Angel, Beast, Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Iceman -- after they disassociated from the current team. X-Men Schism is a 2011 five-issue miniseries written by Jason Aaron, dealing with strong disagreements between Cyclops and Wolverine that drive a wedge through the team. This bundle offers a solid cross-section of the X-Men universe and is well suited to existing fans looking to fill gaps in their collection or newcomers wanting to sample several different eras and corners of Marvel's mutant mythology.
