Brilliance 2.0 is a bitmap graphics editor for the Commodore Amiga, published by Digital Creations. The package actually comprises two separate applications: Brilliance, a palette-based indexed-colour paint tool, and TrueBrilliance, a true-colour companion. The Brilliance application covers the familiar world of Amiga indexed-colour painting, including palettes, brushes, animation frames, fills, gradients, stencils, symmetry, and magnification. TrueBrilliance extends this into HAM modes, 15-bit colour, and 24-bit imagery. The package was one of the major rivals to Deluxe Paint, the established killer app in Amiga bitmap graphics editing. Version 2, released in 1994, dropped the dongle requirement that had come with the original release. TrueBrilliance is particularly notable for its ability to edit true 15 and 24-bit colour images even on older Amigas that could only display HAM-6 graphics.
