About this deal

This is a used (pre-owned) collection of 10 games and programs on cassette tape for the Atari 8-bit home computer range, covering the 400, 800, XL and XE models. Cassette was a popular and affordable software format for these machines, and multi-title compilations like this were a common way to build up a library quickly. A cassette recorder such as the Atari 410 or 1010 is required to load the software. One of the included titles, Rockford, is a 1988 game developed by Arcadia Systems and published by Mastertronic. It is a treasure-hunt game in which the player must collect treasures across multiple worlds while avoiding being crushed by giant rocks or caught by enemies. The game is closely inspired by Boulder Dash. This is a used lot and would appeal to retro computing collectors or anyone with a working Atari 8-bit setup looking to expand their tape software collection.
