About this deal

This is a self-assembly kit that adds active cooling to the TerribleFire TF1260 accelerator card for the Commodore Amiga A1200. It installs around the existing CPU and requires a fan header to be added to the card if one is not already present. The item is opened but never used, so it is in unused condition. The TF1260 itself is a 68060-based accelerator for the A1200 with 128MB Fast RAM, an additional IDE interface, and a software-selectable clock frequency. The card supports overclocking by software, and fitting heatsinks or active cooling to the CPU and CPLD chips is widely recommended to improve overclocking stability. The fan header on the TF1260 provides a 12V supply, and connecting to it lets you use the "fancontrol" application from the TFTools pack to manage the fan. This cooler kit is a practical addition for any TF1260 owner running their card above its standard 50MHz clock speed.
