About this deal
A job lot of seven issues of Super Spider-Man, the Marvel UK weekly comic, published in 1977 and 1978, in Very Good condition. With issue 254 in December 1977 the title became simply Super Spider-Man, having previously been paired with Captain Britain. Issues from this period reprinted Spider-Man stories alongside strips featuring Captain America, the Avengers, and Thor. Super Spider-Man was part of a Spider-Man weekly run that became the longest-running Marvel UK publication, spanning 666 issues from 1973 to 1985. These comics are a genuine slice of British comics history and will appeal to collectors of vintage Marvel UK material, fans of the Silver and Bronze Age Spider-Man, or anyone who grew up reading British weeklies in the 1970s.
