This starter kit bundles the YoLink Hub (YS1603) with a YS8003 Temperature and Humidity Sensor, giving you everything needed to begin monitoring indoor conditions remotely. YoLink devices use LoRa wireless technology, which offers a range of up to 1,000 feet in open air -- considerably further than standard Wi-Fi -- with strong penetration through concrete and metal. The hub acts as the internet gateway for all YoLink devices, connects via wired Ethernet or 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and is compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, IFTTT, and Home Assistant. Once set up, the YS8003 sensor detects and records temperature and humidity, reporting readings to the YoLink app. The app supports automation rules, so if a triggered condition is met, connected devices can respond automatically.
