The WT588D-16P is a compact, versatile audio player module designed to interface with Arduino and other microcontroller platforms. It stores and plays sound files using 16M-bit Flash memory , and operates at a supply voltage of 2.8V to 5.5V DC. It plays both MP3 and WAV files via the built-in WT588D microcontroller. Audio is loaded onto the module via USB using companion PC software, and this 16-pin version supports up to 4 trigger inputs. The module features an embedded DSP audio processor, a 13-bit DAC converter, and 12-bit PWM output for good sound quality. A PWM output lets you connect a small speaker directly, making it straightforward to build sound signalling devices, auto-informers, warning devices, and answering machines.
