The Waveshare ESP32-C3 Mini (ESP32-C3-Zero) is a compact development board built around a RISC-V 32-bit single-core processor running at up to 160MHz, with built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth 5 (LE). It includes 400KB of SRAM, 384KB of ROM, and 4MB of onboard Flash memory. The board features a castellated module with a ceramic antenna for direct soldering to carrier boards, a USB Type-C port, BOOT and RESET buttons, and an onboard WS2812 RGB LED. It supports a wide range of communication interfaces including 3 x SPI, 1 x I2C, 2 x UART, 1 x I2S, and 2 x ADC. Hardware encryption accelerators, RNG, HMAC, and digital signature modules are included to meet IoT security requirements. The board is compatible with CircuitPython, MicroPython, Arduino IDE, and ESP-IDF, making it well suited to hobbyists and engineers prototyping IoT devices, smart home projects, and wireless sensor nodes.
