Used Warhammer Fantasy Battle metal miniatures from Games Workshop's Citadel range, representing the Empire Greatswords -- among the most elite infantry in the Imperial army. Greatswords are heavily armoured warriors promoted from the ranks for exceptional skill and bravery, serving as both a bodyguard regiment and a reserve force of elite soldiers for Elector Counts. They carry massive two-handed swords called zweihanders and wear full Dwarf-forged plate armour. The models are inspired by the Landsknecht, Renaissance-era mercenary footsoldiers. This lot includes Command and Elite figures, making it ideal for building or expanding an Empire army in Warhammer Fantasy Battle or Warhammer: The Old World.
