This is a Forge World resin upgrade kit that converts the standard plastic Space Marine Land Raider into the Prometheus variant, a command tank released by Forge World. The Prometheus is built to serve as a battlefield command vehicle, outfitted with additional sensor and communications equipment, with its most visible change being the replacement of the standard lascannon sponsons with quad heavy bolters, providing heavy anti-infantry firepower. The hull-mounted heavy bolters are removed to make room for the extra equipment, replaced by an advanced Vox signal booster allowing the vehicle to coordinate units at long range, including ground-to-ground and ground-to-orbit. Despite its considerable firepower, the vehicle's primary role is as a front-line command tank, reflecting the Adeptus Astartes ideal that commanders lead from the very edge of battle rather than behind the lines.
