This is a used metal Warhammer 40,000 miniature depicting a single Vostroyan Firstborn Guardsman armed with a grenade launcher, part of Games Workshop's Astra Militarum range. The grenade launcher trooper is a single-component metal miniature supplied with a 25mm round base. It is a classic sculpt full of intricate detail befitting the regiment's reputation. The figure functions as a special weapons gunner and can slot straight into an existing Astra Militarum infantry squad. The Vostroyan Firstborn are among the most proud and haughty of all regiments, with fine equipment and uniforms lovingly maintained by families as a matter of duty and honour. During the Horus Heresy, Vostroya refused to provide regiments to the Emperor, and after the Heresy the Vostroyans agreed, out of guilt, to supply every family's firstborn to the Imperial Guard. Their soldiers retain a very archaic appearance compared to other Imperial Guard regiments, and their weapons are passed down from firstborn to firstborn, often worth more than the guardsmen who carry them.
