Kill Team: Tomb World is an expansion for Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team skirmish game, pitting two teams of operatives against each other in an ancient, crumbling Necron crypt. The box includes a Deathwatch kill team, a new Necron Canoptek Circle kill team, and a new Close Quarters terrain set. The Deathwatch side contains enough miniatures to create two entire teams, with plenty of sculpted shoulder pads and faces representing numerous Chapters. The Canoptek Circle is led by a Cryptek Geomancer and builds 2 Tomb Crawlers and 5 Macrocyte Warriors, one of which can be built as an Accelerator and another as a Reanimator. The Killzone terrain consists of a double-sided folding game board along with 25 modular Tomb World terrain pieces including pillars and walls, plus special pieces like a Necron sarcophagus and teleport pads. The 80-page Tomb World Dossier contains background, lore, and rules for both kill teams, the Killzone, a Joint Ops mission pack for solo or cooperative play, and an Adversary Ops mission pack. The kit comprises 506 plastic components in total. Miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted, and a copy of the Kill Team Core Book is needed to make full use of the contents.
