About this deal
Beneath a Steel Sky is a 1994 point-and-click adventure game developed by British studio Revolution Software and published by Virgin Interactive for the Amiga. Set in a dystopian cyberpunk future, you play as Robert Foster, raised in a wilderness wasteland before being forcibly taken to the corrupt Union City, from which he escapes and begins uncovering the dark secrets at the heart of society. The game was a collaboration between Revolution's game director Charles Cecil and Watchmen comic book artist Dave Gibbons, with the goal of creating a visual bridge between comic and video game graphics. Beneath a Steel Sky was critically acclaimed, winning the Golden Joystick Award for Best Adventure and reaching number one on the British Gallup charts. It remains a cult classic and has featured on numerous all-time top lists. This boxed Amiga floppy disk edition comes with 13 disks and is a rare, physical piece of retro gaming history, ideal for collectors or Amiga enthusiasts. The full big box release originally included an outer box, technical manual, security manual, and a comic book alongside the disks, so buyers should check the listing carefully for exactly which items are included.
