About this deal

This is a compact Wi-Fi development board built around the ESP32-S2, with a pinout compatible with the Raspberry Pi Pico expansion board ecosystem. It uses an Xtensa single-core 32-bit LX7 processor clocked at up to 240 MHz, with 320 KB SRAM, 128 KB ROM, 8 MB PSRAM and 4 MB Flash memory on the S2FH4 variant. The S2FN4R2 chip variant instead integrates a 4 MB flash die and 2 MB PSRAM die. Both connect via USB-C. The board supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n with an onboard 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi ceramic antenna capable of up to 150 Mbps data transfer. On-chip peripherals include a full-speed USB OTG interface, LCD interface, TWAI controller, capacitive sensor GPIO, temperature sensor and RMT. A hardware crypto accelerator, RNG, HMAC and Digital Signature module are also included to meet IoT security requirements. The board supports MicroPython, Arduino and ESP-IDF development environments, making it well suited to hobbyist and professional DIY projects alike.
