The switch uses a double-silencing structure, with silencing pads on both the stem and the upper and lower housing sections, resulting in very quiet operation. The stem material has been upgraded over the V1 for improved wear resistance and lower friction, while a new light diffuser enhances RGB light diffusion by around 60%. The switches arrive factory lubed with a clear semi-fluid grease applied to the spring and stem components.
