TransWrite is a word processor for the Commodore Amiga, published by Gold Disk in 1991 as part of the Home Office Series. It was designed specifically for high speed and low RAM usage, with documentation marketing it as ideal for writing very large documents such as novels. It runs on Workbench 1.3 or later, works smoothly on original hardware, and allows multiple documents to be open simultaneously so text can be copied between them. The software includes a spell checker with an on-the-fly checking mode that produces no noticeable slowdown in performance. All text operations can be performed with either the keyboard or mouse, with support for programmable macros. Full formatting control includes headers, footers, and page numbering, individual control of left and right hand pages, and an on-screen page preview. TransWrite can work with standard ASCII files, WordPerfect (version 4 or 5) files, or its own format. This UK PAL version is complete with all original materials and documentation.
