About this deal
The Thrustmaster Viper TQS is a throttle quadrant system for PC, officially licensed by the U.S. Air Force and modelled as a 1:1 scale replica of the legendary F-16 Viper throttle. It delivers incredible realism and outstanding ergonomics thanks to 21 action buttons, 5 axes, and disengageable detents. Die-cast metal construction ensures constant friction that does not decrease over time, with 16-bit surgical precision courtesy of the H.E.A.R.T (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) magnetic sensor. Real-world sensations come via metal control knobs, a Chaff/Flare slap switch for deploying countermeasures in air combat, and blackout switches for dogfight immersion, all with firm, linear throttle travel and no dead zones thanks to adjustable friction. Full immersion is further aided by ultra-realistic flight kinematics with access to Idle/Cutoff and Afterburner detents via mechanical levers and handle rotation. The Viper TQS is plug and play in DCS World, with no setup required, as the device is automatically recognised in the game. The lower section of the unit can be detached to accept the optional Viper Panel add-on, sold separately, allowing you to build out a more complete Viper cockpit experience.
