More of a Bad Thing is an expansion for The Plum Island Horror, a cooperative survival horror board game published by GMT Games. It introduces three new factions, each with its own distinct play style, along with new cards and additional systems that create more pressure and new ways to respond to the growing threat on the island. It is aimed at groups who already know the base game and want more faction variety and more tactical options. The expansion adds 18 new Search Cards, 15 new Event Cards including 3 new Mutations, and Alpha Horrors that sit atop Horror stacks to grant them unique abilities. It also includes new scenarios and a Nightmare Mode that significantly ratchets up the difficulty, plus location manipulation mechanics. Note that the base game of The Plum Island Horror is required to play.
