The Telequipment DM64 is an all solid-state, dual trace, analogue storage oscilloscope. It uses a bistable CRT to provide a large, bright display, with stored waveforms viewable for up to one hour. It dates from 1973 and was produced by Telequipment, the UK division of Tektronix. Solid-state design using FET input circuitry provides minimum drift and fast stabilisation. The DM64 is now obsolete and, in common with instruments of its generation, is more demanding on the user than modern equivalents, with triggering that can be trickier to set up. Nonetheless, its analogue storage facility brings the benefits of trace memory without the drawbacks of digital methods. This example is untested and sold for parts or repair, making it suited to collectors, hobbyists, or technicians with the skills to restore vintage test equipment.
