Disney's TaleSpin is a licensed platform game based on the popular Disney animated TV series of the same name, published by Sega for the Mega Drive in 1992. The game follows Baloo and Kit Cloudkicker as they deliver cargo for Rebecca Cunningham, while contending with the villainous Shere Khan and his hired air pirates led by Don Karnage. The game supports one or two players; in single-player mode you can choose to play as either Baloo or Kit, each with their own style of attack -- Baloo wields a short-range paddle ball while Kit uses a long-range slingshot. Stages come in three varieties: side-scrolling levels where you collect cargo boxes to unlock the exit, boss stages facing Don Karnage and his pirates, and aerial combat stages aboard the Sea Duck. A boxed PAL copy is a collectable piece of early-90s Disney gaming history, well suited to retro collectors and fans of the original cartoon.
