Starstrike II is a first-person action and space flight simulation game developed by Realtime Games Software and published by Firebird in 1986. The Outsiders have been driven from Federation space, and now Federation Command is launching an offensive on the Outsiders' home planetary systems -- you must neutralise all of their planets to allow the Federation's forces to take control. Twenty-two planets fall under Outsiders' control, each with grid-based defences, split into five groups that can be chosen at the start of the game. A notable achievement for its time, the game was a very early example of using filled graphics, a significant improvement over the original's wire-frame visuals. It built on the playability of the original but vastly improved the depth and variety of gameplay, creating a sequel that truly excelled over its already well-regarded predecessor. It was made a Mastergame by Amstrad Action. This listing is for the disk version and is sold for parts or not working.
