The Sphero Indi At-Home Learning Kit is a STEAM-focused coding robot aimed at children aged 4 and above, designed to deliver hours of self-guided, screenless learning and play at home. What sets Indi apart is that it is driven by colour: its on-board colour sensor and included colour cards give kids a way to build mazes that program the robot to drive, teaching core coding concepts without any app or screen. The kit includes the Indi robot, a charging cable, 30 colour cards, two sheets of decorative stickers to personalise the robot, a programming guide, and tape to fix the cards in place. A Beginner's Guide to Programming booklet is also included, with specially designed visuals to help children learn what each colour means along with puzzles to extend learning. Once kids have mastered screenless programming, they can progress to block coding concepts via the free Sphero Edu Jr app, adjusting how Indi reacts to different colour cards. The robot offers more than an hour of battery life, takes around one hour and forty minutes to fully charge, and reaches a top speed of 1.6 metres per second.
