A set of 10 pre-painted Skaven Plague Monks for use in Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, Warhammer: The Old World, and classic Warhammer Fantasy Battles. Plague Monks are the devotees of Clan Pestilens, utterly dedicated to spreading disease in the name of the Horned Rat, and in battle they serve as the mainstay troops of Clan Pestilens armies, driven by a religious fanaticism for sickness and plague. Their exposure to pestilence renders their boil-ridden skin immune to pain, and mundane discomforts that would prove mortal wounds in other ratmen cause them little more than mild discomfort. Models in a Plague Monks unit can be armed with a pair of Foetid Blades, or a Foetid Blade and a Woe-stave. In Warhammer: The Old World, Plague Monks are a Regular Infantry unit fielded in units of 10 or more, mounted on 25 x 25 mm bases, and benefit from the Frenzy and Horde special rules. Buying painted models saves considerable hobby time, and a ready-to-play unit of 10 is a practical starting point or reinforcement for any existing Clan Pestilens force.
