About this deal

The Sinclair Magnum is a light gun made for the ZX Spectrum home computer, produced by Trojan Products for the Virgin Mastertronic Group and marketed under the Amstrad/Sinclair brand. It lets you shoot at the screen from up to five feet away, making it a natural fit for arcade-style action titles. This version connects via the microphone input socket, making it compatible with earlier ZX Spectrum models. Later Spectrum models such as the +2, which lack the microphone socket, require a different version of the gun. A sought-after piece of retro gaming history, this is a used example ideal for collectors or ZX Spectrum enthusiasts wanting to relive classic lightgun games. A CRT television and a 9V battery are required for use. Compatible games released for the peripheral included titles such as Operation Wolf, making it one of the more exciting peripherals of the late 1980s home computing era.
