The SG92R is an upgraded version of the popular SG90 micro servo, featuring improved gears and torque. It weighs just 9g and uses POM plastic gears reinforced with carbon fibre, making them more durable and offering greater torque than the standard SG90 nylon gears. It delivers a stall torque of 2.5 kg/cm, making it well suited to control surfaces on small aircraft and hobby robotics. In the familiar 9g form factor, it fits SG90 mounts and small RC models, offering a full 0 to 180 degree range and responsive digital control for snappier positioning and tighter deadband than older analogue units. Servo motors can be commanded to go to a specific position, making them the usual choice when accurate positioning is needed, such as turning the front wheels on an RC model for steering. Each unit comes with a 25 cm wire and a 3-pin S-type female header connector that fits most receivers, including Futaba, JR, GWS, Cirrus, Blue Bird, Blue Arrow, Corona, Berg, Spektrum and Hitec.
