This is a used boxed Sega Mega Drive console being sold alongside the Space Invaders game (or as a bundle). The Sega Mega Drive was the first successful 16-bit home console , and remains a favourite among retro gaming enthusiasts. Space Invaders 90/91 is an update to Taito's classic arcade game released for the Mega Drive in 1990. The game was not officially released in Europe , making a boxed copy a genuine collector's item. The game keeps the original Space Invaders formula mostly intact but gives the player's ship extra hit points instead of static shields, features improved graphics and added music, and introduces new enemies with different movement patterns in later levels. Power-ups can be collected by shooting the mother ship at the top of the screen, ranging from shots that wipe out entire rows of invaders to invincibility and shield restoration.
