Lotus Turbo Challenge is a classic arcade-style racing game for the Sega Mega Drive. Developed by Magnetic Fields and published by Gremlin Graphics, it was released for the Sega Mega Drive in 1993. It is a port of the much-loved Amiga and Atari ST title Lotus Turbo Challenge 2. The game puts you behind the wheel of a Lotus Esprit Turbo through a variety of race tracks with differing scenery. On the Mega Drive the gameplay centres on course-based time trials, not unlike arcade games such as Out Run. Two-player simultaneous play with split screen is also included, along with a choice of audio tracks to accompany races. A password system lets players save their progress and return to where they left off. A solid pick for retro racing fans and Mega Drive collectors alike, this PAL version cartridge has been tested and is confirmed working.
