The sE Electronics USB2200a is a large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone based on the well-regarded sE2200a, fitted with a USB interface for plug-and-play recording straight to a computer or DAW without needing an audio interface. It includes a proprietary chip and software set that removes noise and spikes from the 5V USB power supply before it reaches the capsule, addressing the noise problems that affect most USB microphones. The USB2200a provides USB and analogue output via XLR simultaneously , giving you flexibility or a backup feed. A headphone output with balance control allows zero latency monitoring of both the playback and record path.
