Marvel Comics began publishing Scooby-Doo in 1977 , making this run a sought-after slice of Bronze Age comics history. The series is an anthology title featuring Scooby stories alongside other Hanna-Barbera cartoons, including Captain Caveman, Yogi Bear, Dynomutt and Huckleberry Hound. Issue 1 marks the first Marvel appearance of Scooby-Doo and is also where the Dynomutt strips begin. This lot of 8 issues (numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9) represents a near-complete start to the run and is ideal for vintage comic collectors and Hanna-Barbera fans. Stories feature the full Mystery Inc. gang -- Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma -- with art by Dan Spiegle, a key contributor to the early issues.
