The SP is a 32-bit handheld from Nintendo, built as an upgraded, more compact version of the original Game Boy Advance with a clamshell design that helps protect the screen from scratches and dust. It was the first Game Boy device with a rechargeable battery and the first widely released model with an integrated screen light. The cartridge slot on the bottom accepts Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance game cartridges, making it a versatile choice for anyone with an existing collection.
