These relay module interface boards run on 5V and are designed for makers, hobbyists and engineers who want to switch mains or low-voltage loads from a microcontroller. They can be controlled directly by a wide range of microcontrollers including Arduino, AVR, PIC, DSP, ARM, MSP430 and TTL logic devices. Available in 1, 2, 4, 6 or 8 channel configurations with low level trigger activation, each channel is equipped with a high-current relay rated at up to AC 250V/10A and DC 30V/10A, and each channel requires a 15-20mA driver current. Each relay has both normally open and normally closed contacts, and a green power indicator LED and red relay status indicator LEDs make it easy to monitor the state of each channel at a glance. The modules are well suited to driving high-power devices such as lights, fans and air conditioning units, allowing high voltages to be safely controlled via a low-voltage MCU signal. Mounting bolt holes are included for straightforward installation.
